गत वर्ष साउन (२०२६ अगस्ट) महिनामा काठमाडौँको अनामनगरस्थित सिंहदरबारको पूर्वी गेटनजिक करिब ४० लाख रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी लगानीमा ‘फ्लिप एन्ड इट’ नामक क्याफे सञ्चालनमा ल्याएकी इस्टुको उक्त व्यवसाय हाल दसैँदेखि बन्द रहँदै आएको छ।
उनको भिडियो बाहिरिएसँगै सामाजिक सञ्जालमा विभिन्न किसिमका प्रतिक्रिया र जिज्ञासा व्यक्त भइरहेका छन्। भिडियोमा उनले व्यक्त गरेको पीडा र गम्भीरतालाई ध्यानमा राख्दै उनको सुरक्षा र वास्तविक अवस्थाबारे थप आधिकारिक विवरण आउन बाँकी छ।
Social media has been abuzz with concern following the release of an emotional video by active TikTok creator and entrepreneur Istu Karki, where she is seen weeping and detailing severe mental harassment and blackmail.
In the video, Karki expressed that if she had made any mistakes, she is ready to face legal consequences and jail time, but pleaded not to be mentally tortured. However, she did not name anyone specifically or provide detailed context regarding who was targeting her and why. There is no official confirmation yet on whether a formal police complaint or investigation has been initiated regarding the matter.
Karki had launched a cafe named 'Flip and Eat' near the eastern gate of Singha Durbar in Anamnagar, Kathmandu, in August 2026 with an investment of over Rs 4 million. However, the cafe has remained closed since the Dashain festival.
Following the viral video, netizens have raised numerous questions and concerns regarding her safety and well-being, as authorities and official updates are yet to shed light on the actual cause behind her distress.
