Father vs. Son? Viraj Bhatta and Sameer Face Off in '12 Gaun 2' Teaser, and Its Final Line Is Stirring Up Buzz
The 1 minute 49 second teaser of the much-awaited 12 Gaun 2 is out, and it has set the Nepali film industry talking. Action star Biraj Bhatta and his son Sameer Bhatta both appear in fierce, powerful avatars.
The mysterious line at the end, "When two powers face each other, the verdict isn't decided by war, but by the end of one," has made audiences even more curious. Why are Biraj and Sameer clashing on screen, and which of the two is heading for an end? The teaser leaves that suspense hanging.
Directed by Biraj Bhatta himself, the film also stars Anup Bikram Shahi, Sunil Pokharel, Khushi Karki, Krishu Shahi, Barsha Itani and Prakash Shah. The story is by Santosh Sarkar, the action stunts by Stunt Shilva and Shankar Maharjan, the cinematography by Mahesh Paudel, and the editing by Bande Prasad. The action-thriller is set to release in theatres nationwide on Asoj 30.
The teaser gives a good glimpse of the film's scale and action, and the father-son face-off sets up a strong hook. It reveals little about the story, though, so whether the two truly fight each other or there's a bigger twist will only be clear in the theatre.
What did you think of the teaser? Are father and son really heading for a showdown, or is there a twist waiting?
