रिलिजभन्दा डेढ महिनाअघि नै ‘हिमालयन गोल्ड’ को ट्रेलर सार्वजनिक, नेपाल र भारतमा एकसाथ रिलिज हुने'Himalayan Gold' Trailer Out Six Weeks Before Release, Film to Open in Nepal and India Together
यतिबेला नेपाली फिल्मका ट्रेलर रिलिजको ठीक अगाडि ल्याउने चलन नै बनेको छ, र यसपालि दसैँमा आउने फिल्महरूले पनि त्यही बाटो अपनाएका छन्। तर ‘हिमालयन गोल्ड’ ले भने अलि फरक बाटो रोजेको छ। मंसिर ४ गतेबाट प्रदर्शनमा आउने यो फिल्मको ट्रेलर करिब डेढ महिनाअघि नै सार्वजनिक गरिएको हो। सोमबार काठमाडौंमा भएको कार्यक्रममा ट्रेलर रिलिज गरिएको थियो।
दुई मिनेटभन्दा लामो ट्रेलरले फिल्मको कथा र परिवेशको झलक दिएको छ। हिमाली क्षेत्रमा यार्सागुम्बा टिप्न पुगेकी एक युवतीले भोग्नुपर्ने कठिनाइ यसमा देखाइएको छ। बाटोमा लुटेराको समूहसँग भेट भएपछि उनले आफूलाई कसरी जोगाउँछिन् भन्ने प्रश्न ट्रेलरले खुला छाडेको छ। छायांकन र पार्श्व संगीत प्रभावशाली देखिन्छ।
ह्वाइट एलिफेन्ट मोसन पिक्चर्सको ब्यानरमा बनेको फिल्ममा सुनील थापा, कर्मा शाक्य, मेनुका प्रधान, राहुल एन. मुखिया, परीक्षा लिम्बू, सजन थापा, अंकित खड्का, सुनिल तामाङ, सेविता अधिकारी, ऋषिकेश बस्याल र तेन्जिङ ठकुरीलगायतले अभिनय गरेका छन्। ट्रेलरले सुनील थापा नकारात्मक भूमिकामा देखिने संकेत दिएको छ।
धीरज राजवंशी निर्देशित फिल्म नेपाल र भारतमा एकै दिन रिलिज हुँदैछ। भारतमा वितरणको जिम्मा अनिल थडानीको कम्पनी ‘एए फिल्म्स’ ले लिएको छ। केही साताअघि मुम्बईमा धीरज र अनिलबीच वितरण सम्झौता भएको थियो। यो कम्पनीले ‘बाहुबली’, ‘पुष्पा’ र ‘आरआरआर’ लगायत दुई सयभन्दा बढी भारतीय फिल्म वितरण गरिसकेको छ।
निर्देशक राजवंशीका अनुसार भारतमा पनि फिल्म नेपाली भाषामै देखाइनेछ, हिन्दीमा डब गरिँदैन। उनले भाषाको पर्खाल भत्काउने प्रयास गरेको र फिल्मको भाव नेपालीमै राम्ररी महसुस हुने भएकाले यसो गरिएको बताए। भारतीय दर्शकका लागि अंग्रेजी सबटाइटल रहनेछ।
Releasing a trailer just before a film's debut has become the norm in Nepali cinema, and this Dashain's releases have followed the same route. 'Himalayan Gold' has chosen differently. The film arrives in cinemas on Mangsir 4, but its trailer was released about six weeks early, at an event in Kathmandu on Monday.
The trailer runs a little over two minutes and gives a feel of the story and setting. It follows a young woman who travels to the mountains to collect yarsagumba and faces serious hardship there. After she runs into a gang of robbers, the question of how she will protect herself is the mystery the trailer leaves open. The cinematography and background score look impressive.
Made under the White Elephant Motion Pictures banner, the film features Sunil Thapa, Karma Shakya, Menuka Pradhan, Rahul N. Mukhiya, Parikshya Limbu, Sajan Thapa, Ankit Khadka, Sunil Tamang, Sevita Adhikari, Rishikesh Basyal and Tenzing Thakuri, among others. The trailer hints that Sunil Thapa plays a negative role.
Directed by Dhiraj Rajbanshi, the film releases in Nepal and India on the same day. In India, distribution is handled by Anil Thadani's company AA Films. The distribution deal between Dhiraj and Anil was signed in Mumbai a few weeks ago. The company has already distributed over two hundred Indian films, including 'Baahubali', 'Pushpa' and 'RRR'.
According to Rajbanshi, the film will be shown in Nepali in India too, with no Hindi dub. He said the team wants to break the language barrier and that the film's feeling comes through best in Nepali. English subtitles will be provided for Indian audiences.
