बलिउड सुपरस्टार सलमान खानले आफ्नो जीवनमा आधारित फिल्म कहिल्यै नबन्ने स्पष्ट पारेका छन्। आफ्ना निजी अनुभव सार्वजनिक गर्न उनी चाहँदैनन्। करण जोहर सञ्चालित चर्चित कार्यक्रम ‘कफी विथ करण’ को नवौँ सिजनमा पाहुना बनेका बेला उनले यो कुरा राखेका हुन्।
कार्यक्रममा अभिनेत्री करिश्मा कपूरले सलमानलाई सोधिन्, उनको जीवनमा फिल्म बनाउनुपर्यो भने कुन निर्देशक रोज्ने? सलमानले फरक-फरक शैलीका लागि चार निर्देशकको नाम लिए। हास्य फिल्मका लागि डेभिड धवन, दुःखान्त प्रेमकथाका लागि सञ्जय लीला भन्साली, एकपछि अर्को सुन्दर प्रेमकथाका लागि सूरज बडजात्या र जीवनका घटनाक्रम समेटेर एक्सनप्रधान प्रेमकथा बनाउन कबिर खान।
तर यी चारमध्ये कसैलाई पनि फिल्म बनाउन दिने छैनन् भन्ने उनको जवाफ थियो। उनका अनुसार उनका जीवनका कथा उनीसँगै जानेछन्, र ती कुरा खोतलिए धेरै पुराना कुरा बाहिर आउन सक्छन्। आत्मकथा लेख्ने इच्छा पनि आफूमा नभएको उनले बताए।
कार्यक्रममा उनले अविवाहित रहनेबारे पनि कुरा राखे। जीवनसाथी बनाउनबाट कसैले रोकेको छैन, तर अहिलेकै जीवनमा आफू खुसी भएको उनको भनाइ थियो। सन्तानको कमी महसुस हुन्छ कि भन्ने करणको प्रश्नमा उनले कुनै न कुनै बेला आफ्नो सन्तान हुने बताए।
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has made it clear that no film on his life will ever be made. He wants his personal experiences to stay private. He said this while appearing as a guest on season nine of Karan Johar's popular show, Koffee with Karan.
On the show, actress Karisma Kapoor asked Salman which director he would pick if a film on his life had to be made. Salman named four directors for four different styles: David Dhawan for comedy, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a tragic love story, Sooraj Barjatya for one beautiful romance after another, and Kabir Khan for an action-packed love story built from the events of his life.
But he added that none of them would get permission. In his view, the stories of his life will go with him, and digging into them could bring up a lot of old matters. He also said he has no wish to write an autobiography.
He also spoke about remaining unmarried. According to him, nobody has stopped him from choosing a life partner, but he is happy with life as it is. When Karan asked whether he misses having children of his own, Salman said he will have a child of his own at some point.
