९० दिनमा सकियो सौगात मल्लको फिल्म ‘जुबा’ को छायांकनShooting of Saugat Malla's 'Zooba' Wraps Up in 90 Days
अभिनेता सौगात मल्ल मुख्य भूमिकामा रहेको फिल्म ‘जुबा’ को छायांकन सकिएको छ। गत वैशाख १६ गतेबाट सर्लाहीमा सुरु भएको छायांकन तीन चरणमा ९० दिनमा पूरा भएको हो। निर्माण पक्षका अनुसार फिल्म सर्लाहीसँगै काभ्रेको दाप्चा, काठमाडौं र भक्तपुरमा खिचिएको छ। भारतको राजस्थानमा पनि छायांकन गरिएको छ।
अस्त्र फिल्म्सको ब्यानरमा बनेको फिल्ममा सौगातसँगै सोफी धरेल, सुधन पोखरेल र जीवन भट्टराईलगायतले अभिनय गरेका छन्। सोफीले यही फिल्मबाट अभिनेत्रीको रूपमा डेब्यू गरेकी हुन्। प्रकाश कर्णको निर्देशनमा बनेको फिल्मकी निर्माता सजना थापा र सह-निर्माता शेखर पाण्डे हुन्। कथा प्रकाश कर्णको र पटकथा वर्षा पौडेलको हो।
करिब ५० को दशकको कथावस्तुमा बनेको फिल्मको छायांकन प्रमोद प्रधानले गरेका हुन्। उनले ‘देवदास’, ‘रङ दे बसन्ती’ र ‘भाग मिल्खा भाग’ जस्ता भारतीय फिल्म खिचिसकेका छन्। ‘दक्षिणा’, ‘त्रिशूली’, ‘अन्याय’, ‘चिनो’ र ‘कोसेली’ जस्ता नेपाली फिल्ममा पनि उनले छायांकन गरेका छन्। पछिल्लो पटक उनले नेपाली फिल्म ‘पहाड’ खिचेका थिए।
Shooting of the film 'Zooba', starring actor Saugat Malla, has been completed. Starting in Sarlahi on Baisakh 16, the shoot was finished in three phases over 90 days. According to the producers, the film was shot in Sarlahi as well as Dapcha in Kavre, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. Part of it was also shot in Rajasthan, India.
Made under the Astra Films banner, the film features Sophie Dharel, Sudhan Pokharel and Jeevan Bhattarai along with Saugat. Sophie makes her acting debut with this film. Directed by Prakash Karna, the film is produced by Sajana Thapa, with Shekhar Pandey as co-producer. The story is by Prakash Karna and the screenplay by Barsha Poudel.
Set around the 1950s, the film was shot by cinematographer Pramod Pradhan. He has previously shot Indian films such as 'Devdas', 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', as well as Nepali films including 'Dakshina', 'Trishuli', 'Anyaya', 'Chino' and 'Koseli'. His most recent Nepali film was 'Pahad'.
